We love Christmas here at ABC Taxis and we feel we deserve to start celebrating the festive season as early as possible this year. With Halloween and Bonfire night out the way, the city begins to come alive with fairy lights and a bit of magic.

All over the county, businesses are coming up with a multitude of festive ways for families all over Norfolk and Norwich to get into the Christmas spirit.  But there is nothing more festive than strolling through a Christmas market, browsing exciting gifts, and indulging in some mulled wine and mince pies. That’s why ABC Taxis are providing a helpful list of Christmas markets in Norwich and Norfolk, and what’s more, they are all free to enter. 

North Norfolk Arts & Crafts BRINGING WINTER MAGIC!

When: November 30- December 1, 10 am – 4 pm 

Norfolk-based artisans and crafters will display their fine work at this year’s Christmas Market in Letheringsett. Browse unique handcrafted pieces including jewellery, embroidery and ceramics and find an ensemble of gift ideas for Christmas.

The stunning Back to The Garden farm shop, delicatessen, café and restaurant will be open serving hot and cold drinks, cakes and pastries as well as full meals.

Jabbawocky Crafts Christmas Markets

Where: The Forum

When: Every Fri & Sat – Through November & December 

You’ll find everything you could possibly want from a Christmas Market at this year’s Festive Fair at The Forum. What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than by wandering through endless stalls of festive decorations, hand-made trinkets and gifts whilst listening to the familiar ambience of Christmas music under dimly lit fairy lights?

Pensthorpe Christmas Market

The Pensthorpe Christmas Market is a favourite amongst families and this year it is being held on Sunday 24th November.  This market attracts the region’s finest food and drinks suppliers, artists and crafters all culminating together in a truly festive outdoor fair that is a change from the high street. With pop-up stalls, and all sorts of festive gifts and trinkets available expect a relaxing escape from the bustle of the city.

Dalegate Market in Burnham Deepdale is hosting this year’s Christmas market through the whole of November and up to Christmas Eve. Relax and avoid the crowds whilst enjoying the stunning North Norfolk Coast and at the same time support local businesses when they need it most. A stunning selection of gifts, clothing, accessories, art, crafts and more is available and Pop Up Shops will be open Tuesday to Thursday, and Fridays to Sundays with a variety of different stalls changing over the month.

The Christmas Gift Fair, at Creake Abbey, North Creake is one of the most festive experiences you’re likely to have this year. This year the event takes place on Saturday 23rd November between 10 am and 3 pm and will host a multitude of festive stalls of crafts, food and drinks both indoors and outdoors. The Little Norfolk Farm in Horsford is nestled in the woods on Sandy Lane and they are hosting their annual Christmas market which will celebrate local producers and traders on November 24th. Enjoy a day packed with festive treats and gifts at The Little Norfolk Farm including an exciting street food event and live music.

The Goat Shed Christmas Market

When: Thorughout November – December

The Goat Shed at Fielding Cottage in Honningham hosts an enormous German Christmas market with over 20 stalls throughout the Christmas period. Once a year Fielding Cottage transforms its ‘Goat Shed’ into a festive market selling local and continental Christmas goods. A number of festive events will play out over the season including carol singers and performances by the Honnigham bell ringers. The market will be packed full of stocking fillers and gifts and is the perfect way to get into the Christmas Spirit. So that’s it for our top 10 list of Christmas markets going on in and around the area. We hope you enjoy the list and enjoy some of the markets. However, please note that parking for many of these markets is limited so be sure to book yourself an ABC Taxi to ensure you don’t have to worry about any transportation requirements.
